‘Salt + Wax’ benefit gig

Photographer and HUCK collaborator Mark Leary is hosting a benefit gig for his surf book Salt + Wax at the Parish Hall in St Merryn, Cornwall on October 14.
The party will feature music from folk duo Stringer Bessant and will aim to raise enough money to print 300 copies of the book.
The book is set to feature a selection of Leary's work from the last four years that capture the surfing lifestyle through portraits and reportage-style photos.
Says Leary: "We're not in this for profit, we'd need to sell a few thousand to break even on the energy and commerce we've logged already... It's just about seeing a piece of art live in the real world."
