‘Salt + Wax’ book

Photographer and HUCK collaborator Mark Leary is releasing a new surf book called Salt + Wax.

The book features a selection of Leary's work from the last four years that capture the surfing lifestyle through portraits and reportage-style photos.

But in order to fund the printing, he is requesting 300 pledges of £22 each, all of whom will receive a copy of the book and your name in a 'Pledgers Hall of Fame' section in the book.

Says Leary: "We're not in this for profit, we'd need to sell a few thousand to break even on the energy and commerce we've logged already... It's just about seeing a piece of art live in the real world."

So if you fancy getting involved, you can contact Leary via his website.

Check out more of Leary's work in HUCK#022 in our Digital Archive.
