No Age ‘The Bear’ live score
LA skate punks flirt with the avant-garde in ongoing cinemusic project.
Noise punks No Age are performing a live soundtrack to Jean-Jacques Annaud's classic 1988 nature film The Bear in the ICA in London on April 3.
The grizzly fusion of reverb and bear cub first premiered at the awesome Cinefamily in Los Angeles, an organisation dedicated to celebrating everything 'movie', and also appeared in the New Museum in New York shortly after.
The No Age musos of guitarist Dean Spunt and buzzed-out drummer Randy Randall recently made headlines scoring another film, States of Matter, for ultra-hip clothing brand Rodarte.
Check out this taster video from the 2009 Cinefamily event and grab tickets from the ICA website before they run out.
