Signal Snowboards have just released the latest of their Every Third Thursday videos that take a fresh approach to snowboard construction.
This episode sees them take inspiration from everyone's favourite shoe at the moment, the Vans Checkerboard Slip On.
Using bamboo fibre as a core, they create two asymmetrical old school powder boards in the shape of the classic footwear.
They even get a ringing endoresment from Steve Van Doren himself and get a tour of the Vans' headquarters in Cypress, California.
It also rides pretty well too, apparently...
