Signal ‘Recycle Snowboard’ video

Signal Snowboards have just released the latest of their Every Third Thursday videos that take a fresh approach to snowboard construction.

This episode, called Recycle Snowboard [sic], sees them creating a snowboard out drinks cans, trees recently felled to help stop a beetle infestation, old fabric and plastic bottles for the base.

Says Signal: "The goal was to build this board out of materials being thrown away. It was to cost nothing more than the inserts, edge material and resin. About 15 dollars."

The end result is tested on a DIY snowpark created on one of the last remaining patches of snow on June mountain in California.

Durable it ain't, but what a vision!
