Signal Snowboards have just released the latest of their Every Third Thursday videos that take a fresh approach to snowboard construction.
This episode, called The Sled, sees them creating a snowboard out of, shock horror, wood!
There's no fiberglass is this one, just a wood core, topsheet and metal edges meaning it's fully recyclable.
Says Signal: "We know we're not the first to do so, but the thought is can we turn a wood board in to a legitimate shred stick for today's progressive riding? Will it have a skateboard feel, will it be fast enough with a wood base and would it ever have production potential in the future?"
Will it shred? Best watch to find out...
