Two skateboarders, two arrests
This past week, two pro skaters, Mike Vallely and Richie Jackson were arrested in two completely separate incidents.
First up, Mike Vallely was involved in a Anaheim Ducks crowd brawl (yes, shocking!). Mike, who was featured in HUCK#013 about his partnership with the Ducks, can be clearly seen on video punching another man who attempted to grab a hockey stick that was passed over the glass by player, Scott Niedermayer.
Apparently the stick was intended for Vallely's daughter and Mike was quick to let the man who thought otherwise know it. It's widely be said that the incident has caused the Ducks to sever all endorsement ties with Vallely.
Second to get the cuffs was none other than Australian Hippy Jumper, Richie Jackson.
According to Australia's Daily Telegraph, Jackson was awoken at gunpoint when he decided to fall asleep inside the grounds of a prestigious Sydney grammar school. As he was being led to the police van in cuffs, Jackson is quoted as saying, "I figured it would be better to sleep in there than in the park.''
