Sneaker Seeker Project gets kicking
Soleheaven, SYPC and Monorex join forces to get kids designing their own treds.
Creative design bods Monorex are hosting a shoe design workshop at the SYPC in Slough, Berkshire on 22nd December. A number of prominent artists and designers will be on hand to offer advice and guidance in the aspects of sneaker customisation, photographic manipulation and event organisation whilst each participant gets to custom design their own pair of kicks. Soleheaven will be supplying the footwear for participants to get creative on.
This will be the first of a three workshops with Sneakart will be hosting the second workshop in January and Rob-L & Ghettro hosting the third in February. The whole project will culminate in an exhibition in March of the most creative sneakers at the V&A in London and judged by Ollie Gilbertson from Adidas and Ligaya Salazar, the Curator of the V&A.
