‘I am Snowboarding’ exhibition
I am Snowboarding, an art exhibition in memory of Jeff Anderson, is due to launch on November 14 at The Village at Mammoth in Mammoth Lakes, California.
The show has paired up artists and photographers to create original 30” x 40” canvases in honour of Anderson and act as "a tribute to the depth of the snowboarding, skateboarding and art communities."
It will feature work from such artists as Jamie Lynn, Bryan Iguchi and Mark Gonzales and photographers Jeff Curtes, Tim Zimmerman and Danny Zapalac.
Pro snowboarder and Mammoth local Jeff Anderson was tragically killed in an accident in Nagano, Japan in 2003. This exhibition marks what would have been his 30th birthday.
The proceeds from the show will go to the JLA Memorial Fund for the completion of the Brothers Skateboard Park in Mammoth, CA.
If you can't check out the show, you will also be able to buy prints online via Travis Rice and Mike Parillo's new gallery, Asymbol.
