Snowbombing hits Mayrhofen

What's better than snowboarding? Snowboarding with an amazing soundtrack, that's what! And Snowbombing is making it happen this spring.

The renowned snow-and-music festival is yet again taking over the Austrian town of Mayrhofen for a week-long party kicking off on 31st March.

Offering 640km of pistes to ride in the immense Zillertal ski area by day and world-class bands and DJs to get down to by night, Snowbombing is set to be painfully good!

A formidable line-up will be providing the essential soundtrack for street parties, igloo raves and piste-side gigs. For the indie kids, Dirty Pretty Things, Foals and The Pigeon Detectives are just some of the bands performing. However, all will be in the shadow of ska legends Madness as Suggs and Co are set to get the Tyrolian Alps skanking.

From behind the turntables, The Scratch Perverts, Stanton Warriors and Annie Mac will be taking the parties into the early hours along with DJ Marky, Krafty Kuts and Plumps DJs. If that wasn't enough, three times World DMC Champion DJ Craze will be making an appearance, mixing up hip hop, breaks and drum n bass in a way few others can.

For full line-up and package details, check out the Snowbombing website.

Now where did I leave those glow sticks?
