James Jarvis’ skate park souvenirs

The remains of Plymouth's Central Park skate park, painted by James Jarvis, have been transformed into a collection of souvenirs by art student Jack Lambourne.

Illustrator James Jarvis was commissioned by Plymouth Council and the design studio Intercity to paint the skate park last year, and when it was later demolished, Lambourne rescued some rubble to commemorate it.

Jarvis has also produced 50 signed lino-cut prints that will be given away with some of the small sculptures to the local skaters.

Work on a new skate park is set to take place in January 2011 and should be completed by spring.
