Caia Koopman is one of the most renowned American artists working in the board culture arena today.
Influenced by a life-long love affair with skating, Caia’s work naturally lent itself to skateboard graphics, and it wasn’t long before the Californian talent had bagged her first limited edition T-shirt design for Santa Cruz Skateboards. After earning her art degree, Caia became addicted to snowboarding and her signature style – dark, feminine, ethereal – has been a hit with the board sports fraternity ever since.
As well as being featuring by countless magazines, Caia has been commissioned by a horde of action sports and youth brands.
Catch a glimpse of Caia’s work at the Spacejunk exhibition, ISPO Winter 2009 (Hall A2) 1-4 February.
