Get ‘Stance’ for free
All female snowboarding film to be given away on download.
Stance, a new film featuring an all XX chromosome crew of riders including Gretchen Bleiler, Hana Beaman, Torah Bright and Jenny Jones, is set to be available for download free on September 30.
Shot in HD (and from the looks of the trailer, pretty spectacularly at that), it appears to earn the right to clog up both your bandwidth and hard drive with some powdery mountain goodness.
But haven't we reached a point where we no longer need such gender division in snow films?
Surely you'd have to still have your knuckles dragging on the floor to doubt any of these riders' abilities, so why this continued self-imposed separation in films?
