Supergirl Jam hits Venice Beach
Venice Beach will become the ultimate action sports destination for girls who rip this summer as it undergoes a transformation for the Supergirl Jam competition.
Events kick off on August 15 with the Pro Junior surf contest where defending champion Coco Ho will battle it out against top groms including Carissa Moore, Bethany Hamilton and Alana Blanchard for $15,000 prize money.
There will also be a brand new beachside skatepark hosting the Supergirl Pro-Am Jam comp on August 19. Following that, on September 6 there will be an artificial snow mountain made from 80,000 pounds of real snow for the Snowboard Rail Jam. Expect one hell of a puddle when that bad boy melts.
