Surfing and more with Ticket to Ride

The exceptional tour company offers a fresh take on surf holidays.

Our friends at Ticket to Ride are enjoying their 3rd UK summer as the original Gap Year and Career Break organisation to specialise in worldwide surf travel adventures for aspiring surfers looking to live the lifestyle and exceed all expectations.

TTRide South Africa gives Riders the unique opportunity to combine learning to surf with involvement in township community projects whilst travelling around South Africa. Riders round off their adventure by gaining professionally accredited and globally recognised qualifications as surf instructors and beach lifeguards.

Having established a reputation as a small and personalised organisation that focuses on surf coaching that delivers results and responsible travel that puts something back into the local area, Ticket to Ride has successfully developed new adventures designed to offer an unrivalled opportunity to learn to surf and travel the world.

TTRide Mozambique has been developed as an extension to the TTRide South Africa adventure, whilst also being an exciting trip in its own right for surfers looking to take their surfing to the next level. TTRide Mozambique goes right back to the core routes of surf travel on a 4x4 mission to discover hidden perfection.

TTRide African Road Trips offers a shorter surf travel experience for Riders for a shorter surf travel foundation course that includes the opportunity to put something back into the local community.

TTRide Costa Rica gives Riders the opportunity to live the Costa Rican lifestyle and combine learning to surf with learning to speak Spanish in order to teach English in the local school.
TTRide Costa Rica has been set up in the same mould as all other TTRide Adventures where Riders have the chance to combine, doing something for themselves by developing lifetime skills whilst also doing something for others by putting something back into the local community and experiencing a new way of life.

As well as Gap Years and Career Breaks, Ticket to Ride Worldwide Surfing Adventures has developed trips to cater for the ever growing student surf market with its week long University Shoe String Trips and Schools Up and Riding Surf Camps in Portugal and Morocco.

Future developments for Ticket to Ride looks set to continue along the same lines that have seen them bring something completely new to both the Gap Year and Career Break markets. By combining the core values it recognises to be most important in an extended travelling experience, Ticket to Ride is on course to give more people the reason to take time out.
