Rip Curl Planet teamed up with the Surfrider Foundation at the Rip Curl Pro Portugal to make sure the beaches didn't become trash cans for enthusiastic surf spectators.
The Surfrider Foundation have a big presence in Peniche, Portugal, where the locals have welcomed the ASP World Tour to their wonderful waves, but remain vigilant about protecting the environment along the way.
Rip Curl Planet advocate and Tahitian free surfer Hanalei Reponty featured the cleanup in this video from her vlog series, The Hanalei Show.
