Surfrider to honour Pearl Jam
The eco foundation celebrates 25th anniversary with set of accolades.
The Surfrider Foundation is awarding its prestigious Keeper of the Coast Award to Pearl Jam, Incubus and actor David Chokachi.
They will be officially honoured at the Surfrider Foundation 25th Anniversary Gala on October 9 at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
This rare award is only given every five years to those who have made significant contributions towards helping the Surfrider Foundation fulfill its mission of protecting and preserving the world’s oceans, waves and beaches.
The event will also include an auction of one off pieces from the likes of Raymond Pettibon, Shepard Fairey and Thomas Campbell, all depicting the world’s most recognised, and sometimes threatened, surf breaks.
