Arguably the most iconic left-hander in world surfing becomes the centre of attention in May, as Billabong present the Pro Tahiti once again.
The beauty of the wave is hypnotic, the weight of the water and proximity of the reef deadly. It is the place where Laird Hamilton famously found nirvana and where countless surfers would like to test their mettle.
Look out for it 8th to 18th May, when the ASP circus lands on a small fishing village in the middle of the Pacific.
