A very old skate documentary, The Devil's Toy, has just emerged on YouTube.
The 1966 black and white film documents the early skaters of Montreal, Canada and the general attitude of society to this new craze at the time.
Apart from some pretty menacing narration, there are some wicked shots of the skaters getting creative with their cruising styles.
Says the eloquent narrator: “Beware, the youth of the world is on the move and their aim is to take over!”
The title says it all really...
