The Snowtunnel

The whole global warming issue is a worrying one for snowboarding. But fear not, you can still get your fix in The Snowtunnel.

This giant, frosted cement mixer allows you to get in a few turns and doesn't sap the National Grid like your average indoor snow slope.

According to the people behind it, it can deliver "beginner to extreme snow/surf sport simulation in an era where Mother Nature is unpredictable."

Check out the video below to see how it all works. Forgive the cynicism but something tells me the experience just won't be the same, especially with all that constant on-one-edge/hand-dragging going on...
