‘Toska’ ‘zine
Sombre pencil illustrations in a collectable form.
Illustrator Lizzy Stewart has recenlty released a new art 'zine, Toska.
It features slightly bleak pencil drawings from the Edinburgh College of Art graduate based around unusual portraits and dusky landscapes.
The 'zines are litho printed and each of the 500 hundred printed have been hand numbered.
If you are wondering what Toska means, it features an introductory quote from late Russian novelist Vladimir Nabokov, explaining that "at its deepest and most painful, it is a sensation of great spiritual anguish often without any specific cause."
You can buy a copy from her website.
