Travis Rice launches Asymbol Gallery
Influential pro snowboarder brings boardsports art and photography to the masses.

Travis Rice and friends have just launched their own online art and photography store, Asymbol Gallery.
The super-talented snowboarder put together the gallery with Mike Parillo, Claire Johnson and Nemo Design.
It features such artists as Jamie Lynn, Ari Marcopoulos and Mike Blabac.
Says photographic collaborator Tim Zimmerman: "Travis wanted to give the artists and photographers he respects an opportunity to sell prints to the public. Most of the time a photographer’s favorite images just sit in a file or on a hard drive and never see the light of day because the magazines didn’t choose them. The same goes for the artwork. There are so many iconic board graphics out there that just sort of disappear into snowboard history."
