Tripping on your laces at Toe-Box.com

Only recently has the trainer become a bit of an obsession, since my days of wearing them purely as foot-extensions as a wannabe runner. Back then I had no idea people actually bought them just to look good; now I'm giving over webspace for them.

Toe-Box.com must be be for people like me, or for serious obsessives who need some comforting, because I now know how and why Nike ended up with one of the most iconic images in sport: the Jumpman.

Closely linked with SoleHeaven, this is a basic but informative site which is serious about kicks and will keep you up-to-date with an ever-changing industry.  You can now instantly 'art' your sneaks with adhesive film from Sneakart, which can take some hits too although excessive grinding down the local skatepark might have some effect. Still its fun, accessible and perfect for the short-attention-span generation.

And the toe box is the part of the shoe that covers/protects your.......toes, by the way.
