Illustrator, painter and surfer from Laguna, Tyler Warren, will show some recent work in the Shelter Surf Shop, Long Beach on December 12.

The 23-year-old beach bum comes from a family of artists including his uncle, a successful oil painter in Pasadena and his great uncle, Roberto Montenegro, who was a famous Mexican muralist in the 1920s.

His designs have been featured on wetsuits, clothes, shoes and surfboards but now he is turning to a more conventional medium, oil paintings.

The Gold Diggers will be performing live.
