Fighting illness and boredom, the Uganda Skateboard Union has introduced skating to the disadvantaged youth. There's a fascinating story behind what's gong on over in Kitintale, Kampala district which is well worthy of inspection. The guys there are making a film to highlight the goings on which in currently in production, however I’d hugely recommend checking out the preview, it's killer.
The project is reliant upon people helping out, so if you've got some spare euro, dollar, yen, decks, trucks or want to get your ass over there to offer your services, it'll all be welcomed with open arms and the biggest smile you've probably ever seen! Keep up to date with goings on on their blog
