Videograss summer snow podcasts
New snowboard production company launch weekly summer podcasts.
Videograss are dropping weekly lo-fi podcasts each saturday on their vimeo channel for those twitching until the white stuff drops.
Videograss is a new snowboard production company with its members including Holden founder Mikey LeBlanc, Nima Jalali, Darrell Mathes, Justin Meyer and Ashbury goggles founders Mike Hakker and Lance Hakker. Their manifesto is simple: to create "a video about what snowboarders want to do. Not about what filmers and team managers think snowboarders should do."
The rider list is a jib-heavy mix of old and new school talents including Danny Kass, Scotty Whittlake, Laura Hadar, Desiree Melancon, Aaron Biitner, Justin Bennee and LeBlanc himself. Videograss' debut full-length film is expected in the autumn.
After the excess of last season's movies including Mack Dawg's celebratory Double Decade and Travis Rice's Planet Earth-aping That's It, That's All and with the world submerged in recession, expect something far more raw from this winter's releases...
