Volcom ’9191′ premiere tour

Volcom Stone are hosting a premiere world tour of their new snowboard film 9191.

The tour will begin in Newport Beach, California on September 1, stopping across North America, South Korea, Japan and Europe, with the finale at the Prince Charles Cinema, London WC2 on September 28 (for the complete list of dates, check out the Volcom website).

The film, directed by Jake Price, is based around the travels of A-list shredder Gigi Rüf with guest appearances from the likes of Nicolas Müller and Wolle Nyvelt.

It also looks to be throwing in some stop-motion animations and a rather haunting soundtrack from Baron, famed for his excellent work on Flip's Extremely Sorry film.

Says Price: "“Whenever Gigi strapped in, the day would bring excitement. First descents in Alaska to massive gaps in Austria, so much great stuff got torn apart this last winter. Minds will be blown.â€
