Save the Waves Film Festival

The Saves the Waves Film Festival comes to the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco on November 13.

This one-night-only event will have screenings of The Cove, the award-winning documentary about dolphin culling in Japan; Lost Prophets, new surf film with Dave Rastovich; All Points South, the winner of Best Short Film at the New York Surf Film Festival; andThe Devil's Teeth, short film on urchin diving with great white sharks at the Farallon Islands.

The Cove will be presented by Captain Paul Watson, the founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.

  • South Park completely ripped on Paul Watson in a recent episode.

    It also as ever is a sharp social commentary about the west's hypocrisy when it comes to killing whales and dolphins.
