Wee DO Lectures kick off in London
Surfers Against Sewage gives the first wee DO lecture at Howies London store.
Following on from the success of last year's DO Lectures event in Wales organised and hosted by organic clothing brand Howies, comes a series of Wee DO Lectures.
Last night was the first of the London Wee DO talks that took place at Howies store in Carnaby Street, WC1 where we were treated to some free beer supplied by the Pitfield Brewery.
The free lecture was presented by Surfers Against Sewage Director Hugo Tagholm, who gave us the lowdown on what SAS is all about, and all the latest SAS campaigns news. Plus, it was also a great opportunity to ask questions, chat to Hugo about SAS, and sign up as a member.
SAS and Howies have been collaborating on a new range of Howies boardshorts recently too. The shorts, which are made entirely form recycled materials, and come in styles for both men and woman, have the SAS hotline number printed inside the waistband, so you have no excuse not to report a pollution incident when you're out and about.
Wee DO lectures will also be happening in Howies Bristol store very soon so keep your ear to the ground and get along to the next one.
