Dear God, or whoever’s listening…

Dear God, or whoever’s listening…

If communication is the key to a healthy relationship - and a healthy relationship is the key to happiness, and happiness is the key to life - then why the hell are we so bad at it?

If 'it's good to talk' then why dodge eye contact with strangers on the tube in fear that it may actually lead to a, dare I say it, real conversation.

Why not tap the guy next to you on the shoulder and give him the lowdown on whatever happens to be plaguing your soul that day: your hopes, dreams, fears, prayers, deepest secrets, wildest ambitions... Any of the million thoughts that refuse to leave you in peace.

Fully aware that mankind is happier to talk to a computer than a hot-blooded being, Dear God gives you the chance to tap a million shoulders and do just that.

Jot down anything penetrating your mind in a 'Dear God' letter and watch as it's sent out to the world.

Once you get over the whole 'God' thing (believe, don't believe, it's up to you) and realise it's just a bunch of people reaching out, you'll find a million human stories that need to be told.

Question is, are you man enough to talk...?
