‘You Name What You Eat’ contest

The company soon-to-be-formerly-known-as Shredbar are running a competition, You Name What You Eat, to christen their new energy snack bar.

This small, independent start up was set to launch this snowsports-specific energy snack, ShredBar, but was slapped with legal injunction by a giant Swiss food corporation that stopped them from using the name.

Says ShredBar: "We lay beaten and bruised by the giant's bullying. We can't take on their power, but we won't be trampled and we will never abandon our vision. Shred is a verb. Shred is a doing word! So we are at your feet. Decide the destiny of the Shred bar. We are opening up to our community to which we wish to serve. Please help us rename our product!"

Now, with only a few weeks before they launch, they are inviting the general public to help them come up with a new name.

The person to come up with the winning name will be able to choose a prize of either a 77 Project snowboard or a pair of Armada skis.
