So we're told to meet Bob and have a photo taken. Expecting to discuss ad rates and eco wetsuits a second earlier, we find ourselves hugging an older man. The older man turns out to be the legendary Bob Meistrell, co-founder (with brother Bill) of Body Glove and pioneering waterman. It was short, sweet and an unexpected great pleasure. So here's the scoop. Patagonia has just been named Eco Brand of the Year at the Volvo Eco Design forum in Munich during the ISPO tradeshow.

I guess the X Games always throws a few surprises our way, but this year it seemed to chuck a few more than usual. I’m not talking about Shaun White showing us he was human after all by placing in 3rd place again in the slopestyle .
