Pictoplasma crosses the Atlantic for the first time

Set up in 1999, the Berlin based Pictoplasma project is to hold its annual conference in NYC for the first time. From September 5-6, they’ll be at The Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place, NYC and will be bringing folk together to discuss the world of character driven art and design. Not to be confused with married city dwellers getting it on with other folk, Urban Affairs is a street and urban art exhibition held in Berlin from July 5. Hosting 45 artists from 10 countries, Galerie Friedrichshoehe, a brand new 900 sq. meter exhibition space located in a post-industrial building in Berlin-Friedrichshain, will be the home to all the big hitters of the urban art genre until August 3.
