When we sent Guy Martin to photograph Kelly Slater for HUCK#023, we knew the results would be good. However, good turned out to be a massive understatement.
With some unrivalled access that saw him spend a week with Slater at the Quik Pro in Hossegor, Martin has managed to capture the man in those moments away from the circus spectacle.
We couldn't bear for these shots to sit on a hard drive gathering digital dust, so we've made a very special digital magazine to show them off.
