Throughout the two month cycle of making an issue of HUCK, we gather together many inspirations, collectables and mementos.

It's the things we saw, things we did, the things we bought and even things we ate that all contribute to the creative process.

Here are just some of the things that helped make HUCK#025 The John Cardiel Issue what it is...

Our online editor and roaming reporter Ed Andrews bumped into John Cardiel filming a promo video for Chrome Bags in New York and snapped this pola-ride.

Shepard Fairey re-imagines Glen E. Friedman’s iconic Henry Rollins photograph in paint for the current ‘Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die’ exhibition – a selection of photography, art and ephemera from the California punk and hardcore scene in the seventies and eighties – at Fairey’s Subliminal Projects gallery, Los Angeles.

A wooden iPhone cover. In a world that is increasingly digitally anxious, dressing technology up in nature is a sweet aesthetic alternative.

Intimate archive pics of beasties guitarist Adam ‘Ad Rock’ Horowtiz shot by Ari Marcopoulos fill this “show don’t tell” biopic ‘zine, Ad Rock.

HUCK's sister mag Little White Lies website editor Adam Woodward moonlights as the drummer of Cardiff-based experimental pop band Among Brothers and their anthemic rump diddle dum is an audio treat.

Nothing goes better with your burrito than Tasbasco Chipotle (chee-poht-lay) pepper sauce. Making HUCK#025 magazine, the editorial team consumed at least four bottles, but hey chili stimulates the brain!
