Name: Jenny Jones
Age: 28
Hometown: Bristol, Avon
Sponsors: Billabong, Salomon, Nixon, Les Ettes
“It’s great being able to represent myself on an international level now. The British scene is quite unique, we are small enough to be tight knit and able to have a laugh. If you take yourself too seriously, people will take the piss out of you!”

Name: James Stentiford
Age: 37
Hometown: Fremington, North Devon
Sponsors: Quiksilver, DC, Lib Tech, Nissan
“The scene is heavily focused on jibbing and freestyle, and the some peoples’ attitudes towards freeriding frustrates me a little bit. But I understand that you are a product of your environment, if you grew up in Chamonix you’d be into big mountains. I just think the future of snowboarding is a little bit wider than the park.”

Name: Scott McMorris
Age: 28
Hometown: Edinburgh, Scotland
Sponsors: Oakley, Ride, Vans, Nixon, Bawbags, Neff, Red Bull
“Up in Scotland, the snow seasons tend to be pretty unreliable so that’s my most Brits end up in Europe or North America. It makes being a pro harder because we are not born on snow. But now there are a lot of good riders coming through the ranks who can compete on an international level and are filming with the bigger film companies.”

Name: Dom Harington
Age: 24
Hometown: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Sponsors: Animal, ThirtyTwo, Rome, Adidas Eyewear, Grenade Gloves
“Everytime you land a new trick, you get that real feeling of achievement so you can’t measure snowboarding by competitions. The British scene is amazing though, it’s like everyone you meet you can have a good time with. I think it’s because in the UK, you really have to make the effort to snowboard and so it attracts people who are outgoing and up for a good time.”
